Girls Cat Is Run Over By Neighbors Car

10 year old Marisa Hilbert, is crushed and bruised for life when she sees her cat, flounder, is brutally run over by her neighbors car. When the neighbor(Mrs.Hilbert) gets out of her car she dose not notice little Marisa or the dead cat. Marisa runs into her home and fetches her mother. Marisa's mom is informed of what had happened and she goes over to Mrs.Hilbert and confronts her of what she has done. At first Mrs.Hilbert denies that she even knew what had happened. Later she confronts that she felt that she hit something but did not know what it was. At flounders funeral Marisa is in tears and is in a lot of agonies from all the emotion that she is dealing with. Mrs. Hilbert doesn't even apologies or say any good byes. Marisa(as kindhearted and lovingly sweet girl that she is) go's over to Mrs.Hilbert and offers her some treats that were left over from the funeral. Marisa surprisingly finds out that Mrs. Hilbert hates, and loathes cat's and anything that resembles them. She, being a smart girl, realizes that when Mrs.Hilbert ran over the cat she aimed for the cat, and how she  hated it when Marisa and flounder came over, and also how she would yell and scream at cats that would go near her precious garden. She instantly realizes that something fishy was going on. She tells her Mother, her mom truly understand that flounders murder was on purpose. Marisa's mom calls the Animal cruelty services and Mrs.Hilbert is taken away from her home the next day in hand cuffs for the murder of 20 different cats. Who knows maybe there are more people out there that are like Mrs.Hilbert, going out and brutally murdering cats or other animals. Will Mrs.Hilbert stop killing cats? We can only hope that she wont move into our own neighborhoods.

15 year old freshman left broken hearted

Sarah Grace, a 15 year old freshman, is left with a broken heart when she finds out her best friend(lella) is the reason that she and her boyfriend(Jake) broke up with her. She is devastated to see the too in the halls flirting, she immediately goes up to lella and calls her a "Backstabber", she then runs of with tears in her eyes. Sarah try's to avoid Lella  for the rest of that month but that dose not go according to plan. Lella comes up to her and tells her that it was not what it looked like, and then begins to tell what had happened. She says that Jake riped over her when he was talking to his friend and that was why she had her hand on Jake's arm.Also she says that they weren't flirting but they were being friendly. Sarah doesn't believe the story. Sarah gets information on what had really happened she is informed that, yes he tripped over her but she pushed it and started flirting and holding his arm, and so he was intrigued. When Sarah Grace heard about this she says she was heart broken, and had just lost a good friend and a good boyfriend. Time will truly only tell if Sarah can forgive Lella, and Jake. My take on the Ethics of Journalism

The definition of Ethics in the dictionary is- A set of principles of right conduct.
Ethics in journalism is about being truthful in what you write. Also ethics equals good journalism. Ethics in journalism is about what you do and say when no one is looking or monitoring you at the moment. Ethics has nothing to do with obeying laws or following the rules, it is about if it is the right decision to make on your part, and how we need to see how we partane to other peoples feelings before we affect them in any way. Journalistic ethics truly plays out when your in public, like perhaps if you write a article about a fat woman and she didn't know that you were, we need to think ahead in time so that we don't hurt the woman's feelings or affect her in any way. Also if you sensationalize a article it could affect millions of people in all kinds of different ways,like mobs can start, or maybe wars, or innocent people dying because there was a tiny lie in a newspaper article(these are all worst case scenarios). When you make decisions in journalism we should think of ethics, so we should ethically decide if this decisions is the right one and we need to think who will this affect and dose this make me a good or bad journalist. Ethics is truly mainly about behavior and decision making. In journalism when writing an article or working on one you should always think ethically when making the decision and we should make sure that our behavior is being ethically correct for what ever situation, and that our behavior should not affect the ethics of journalism, and that we should always make sure we are being ethical about all our decisions pertaining to journalism. Ethics in Journalism is all ways about our behavior, our decision making, and also how we play out in public. Ethics has everything to do with Journalism.

The History of Journalism

The first ever Newspaper mad was in Europe in the 17th century. A man named Bob Night from Massachusetts was the first printer from the Britain American Colonies. The first Newspaper from the colonies was the  Public Occurrences both Foreign and Domestic, this paper was produced by Benjamin Harris. The second Newspaper produced by the colonies was the China News-Letter, which appeared in the year 1793. The very first   Newspaper to be produced(made) outside of the colonies was made by Andrew Bradford, and was called the American Weekly Mercury, which had been published around the years 1795, and the 1800's. The New England Courant was the first ever Newspaper that was colonial, and was printed by James Franklin(who's brother is Benjamin Franklin). In the 1770's over 35 cities had produced all together 89 Newspapers. One of the most Famous stories that was ever published in News-Letter was abut the Pirate named Blackbeard and how he was killed. In around 1761 all the Newspapers would have ads for lottery tickets. Some of these lottery's were made to fund road building and house making. In 1833 Benjamin Day created the penny press when he produced the Newspaper, New York Sun, which was a big deal because Day truly invented a way to print more papers and it costing less. There were some Newspapers that were more powerful than others, and those Newspaper's were called the Lords of the Press. When the telegraph was invented it was often used for reporters to send news about what was going on in another place, when they were away. Another invention that came in handy for the press was photography, which came out during the Civil War era, a very shocking picture in a newspaper back then was one shot by Matthew Brady, and was a picture of the soldiers at war. The first ever comic section in a newspaper was called the "yellow kid" and was published by a man named Joseph Pulitzer, and he was truly the founder of the journalism that we know as today "yellow journalism".  The yellow kid cartoonist was  made by a man named Richard Outcalt. A popular Journalist from the yellow journalism era was a woman named Elizabeth Conchrant, who wrote under the name of Nellie Bly, and she was one of the first woman who was a journalist.  Bck then a lot of articles published were sensationalized, wich ment they pretty much lied about the whole story, and a famous one is about Butcher Weyler and the cuban Insurrection. In 1982 Pulitizer bought the newspaper called change and changed it to USA today and this is truly were the era of our time in journalism beging.
